How Webify collects, uses, and protects your information, in plain language.

Who we are
This policy covers Webify Development LLC, doing business as Webify Ohio, in Port Clinton, Ohio ("Webify," "we," or "us"). It applies to webifyohio.com, our email, and our business phone and text line.
What we collect
- What you send us. Your name, email address, business name, website, and anything you write in a form, email, text message, or voicemail. If you text or call us, we also receive your phone number.
- Client project information. Files, logins you choose to share through a password manager or account access, and details we need to do the work you hire us for.
- How the site is used. Google Analytics and our website platform record things like pages viewed, device and browser type, approximate location, and how you found the site. This uses cookies.
- Spam protection. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
- Advertising. We use the Meta Pixel, a tool from Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram), to see how our ads perform and to show our ads to people who have visited our site. It uses cookies and sends Meta information like the pages you view and the device you use. Meta's use of it is covered by the Meta Privacy Policy.
How we use it
- To reply to you and send what you asked for, like a Local Snapshot, a price list, or an estimate.
- To do the work you hire us for, send invoices, and keep records.
- To improve our website and measure how our ads perform.
We won't add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be added.
Text messages
What we collect. If you text us or opt in to texts from Webify, we collect your mobile number, the messages we exchange, and records of when you opted in or out.
How we use it. To send the texts described in our Text Message Terms and to answer your messages. A messaging provider, Twilio, delivers our texts.
We don't sell or share your mobile phone number or text messaging opt-in with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply.
Voicemail
If you call us and leave a voicemail, we receive a recording of your message, an automatic written transcript of it, and your phone number. Our phone and automation providers process them on our behalf so we can receive and read your message. We use them only to reply to you, and we don't sell or share them for marketing.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with services that help us run the business, and only so they can do that work: website hosting, email, phone and texting, our client system, invoicing, analytics, and advertising. We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
Client websites and accounts
When we manage a website or account for you, we use only the access you give us and only for the work you've asked for. You can remove our access at any time.
How long we keep it
We keep information as long as we need it to serve you and to meet tax, legal, and record-keeping requirements. After that we delete it or remove what identifies you.
Your choices
- Email team@webifyohio.com to ask what we have about you, or to correct or delete it. We'll reply within one business day and handle the request within 30 days.
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
- You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. To control ads based on your activity, use your Meta ad preferences.
Security
We use secure connections, two-step sign-in on our accounts, and a password manager, and we limit access to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send passwords or payment card numbers by email, text, or form.
Children
Our services are for businesses and organizations. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
